Free Creative Europe Information Seminars
Creative Europe Desk UK run regular information seminars on Creative Europe, its objectives and the current funding opportunities, with the chance to ask questions to the team and hear from past and current recipients of Creative Europe’s support. The following events focus on the Culture sub-programme of Creative Europe:
Regular free breakfasts offering information and advice on Creative Europe’s Culture funding and opportunities will be held at British Council, London through 2015.
Publishing Scotland Conference 2015
Tuesday 24 February, Edinburgh
Emma Valentine and Katie Haines from Creative Europe Desk UK is presenting for the first time at Publishing Scotland’s conference for publishers and booksellers. We’ll be talking about Creative Europe’s Literary Translation funding opportunities.

Audiences NI Annual Conference

Shauna McNeilly from Creative Europe Desk UK – Northern Ireland joins this annual conference featuring an array of speakers and case studies from academia, strategic audience development and the frontline to share some inspiration and pitfalls to reaching more audiences more often.

Free Application Writing Workshops
Creative Europe Desk UK offer free application writing workshops in the months leading up to application deadlines. We will go through the application form, explain the required annexes, attachments and the budget form, and, where appropriate, give you advice on how to work with your partner organisations to build a stronger application.
The next deadlines are in February for Literary Translation and Platforms.
Organisations who are in the process of developing either are advised to contact the team for one-to-one support and advice with their applications.

One-to-one sessions are ideal for organisations already in the process of developing and writing an application for a European project. Read through our guidance note to check if this is appropriate for you.
We can usually offer one-to-ones in central London, via Skype or by telephone; these can be booked by getting in touch. Surgeries can also be requested in combination with seminars/workshops as mentioned above.
