Events in London, Rome and Paris will celebrate racial and cultural diversity and urban ecology in the European Union with a series of music and street art inspired events under the banner of Metissage. Noise of Art is producing the London events and plans to embrace the themes of urban ecological and cultural diversity around the notion of “global-village London”; in which London has long been thought of as a series of villages that reflect global communities. There will be a Street Festival to accompany the Metissage Junior Street Painting, involving street arts. There will be music, art and performances, reflecting on ethnic and cultural diversity and urban eco-diversity, and of course it will feature the street painting, designed by artists and painted by young people. There will be recorded music featuring collaborations from different musical cultures. There will be club nights, live performance and visual/film and music events.
