Intersection: Intimacy and Spectacle is a special international project of the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space 2011 that explores space as creator of the audience/viewer and visual art/theatre relationship and performance as an important element of different art and cultural disciplines, focusing on performance design and scenography as an interdisciplinary field. The project consists of two important parts: theoretical symposia as well as artistic, interactive installations and performances. Intersection also functions as a collaborative network since the project is organized by some of the major European cultural institutions and organizations who are working together over the course of three years.
