Our project ‘Circus of Hip Hop’ hosts a number of activities, that enables new intercultural performance work to be presented within multicultural international festival. The main project objectives are: 1. To provide opportunities for the mobility of European artists and their work. 2. To deliver workshops to a culturally diverse range of participants. 3. To develop high quality outdoor performance work. 4. To bring together disadvantaged young people from across Europe and beyond to work with professional artists. 5. To develop work with an emphasis on intercultural dialogue. 6. To develop the capacity of all partners. The main project stages are: Stage 1: A meeting in Rotterdam for partners to discuss the project and develop a working methodology and artistic direction. Stage 2: A residence in Liverpool/United Kingdom will see: a) Artistic workshops with local and international young people. b) Capacity building initiatives, networking, job shadowing, arts leadership development and intercultural learning workshops between project partners. c) Realization of intercultural performance project . Stage 3: Gdansk/Poland, an evaluation meeting looking at all aspects of the project and the development of a strategy for continued cooperation. Added value: Development of project partners work through ‘Articipation’ network; Capacity building; Synergy between EU programmes. Level of excellence ensured through: High quality artists and production values; Robust policies and procedures. Quality of partnership maintained through: Regular meetings/communications; Partnership reviews; Peer training. Outputs: Including impact on artists, participants, communities, audiences and festivals. Promotion of the results: Involving media partners in all locations; Comprehensive communications strategy; High quality project documentation materials. Stainability: Provide development strategy for sustainable cooperation involving all project partners and stakeholders.
