CityToCity Cabaret will present dance performance in a cabaret context in four European countries. The host partners are artists and managers with an impressive track record, hosting two Cabarets per city, each with an associated residency. Local professional artists will be programmed alongside pieces by amateur performers, local musicians, and guest artists from partner cities.

The project’s objectives are to make links, and exchange knowledge and experiences around creating, performing and promoting dance in different cultural contexts within Europe. CityToCity Cabaret aims to promote the changing status of dance in European society from different perspectives, and to provide an international exchange between dance organisations and artists. The project explores dance as an educational tool, a recreational pastime, a form of exercise, a way of socialising and an art form.
