Support the transnational mobility of new and established comic writers and illustrators through an intensive programme of transnational “train the trainer” workshops. To produce a comic-book anthology that will be showcased and promoted online through international comic conventions and festivals. Encourage the transnational circulation of cultural products through a promotional campaign. Encourage intercultural dialogue. To promote intercultural competence in the industry in newly emerging talent who can establish new audiences for comics and graphic novels professional artists from the partner countries will receive sessions, enabling them to devise and deliver a supportive comic art and writing scheme to the aspiring new talent.

The project will develop relationships among the EU citizens including those who may never have taken part in art activity. Will act as the link between each host city, art sectors, and audiences. In addition to working with the host venues, French Mottershead will engage with audiences at a many local shops, working with shopkeepers, staff and customers to interrupt daily routines via participation in the project. The shop being a familiar space to meet, a place for conversation and discussion and a place where interaction and exchange takes place. Will engage audiences and promote intercultural dialogue through a series of residencies and exchanges, performances and workshops, exhibitions and a publication.

European Modern and contemporary art translations
