Meet the team

Christoph Jankowski is European Information Manager at Visiting Arts, the EU Cultural Contact Point for the European Commission’s Culture programme in the UK. He has considerable knowledge and experience of European arts and cultural projects and networks, the European Union, and European funding. He has worked with several EU-funded projects, including ViaEuropea.eu, the online journal for artistic creation in European public space for IN SITU, the European network for performing arts in public spaces.

He speaks several languages (English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish and some Danish) and is also a freelance writer/researcher. Among other topics he has written about cultural development in Marseille and the city’s successful bid for European Capital of Culture in 2013.

Lea Seibert

Lea Seibert is European Information Assistant at Visiting Arts, the UK Cultural Contact Point for the European Commission’s Culture programme. In her role she provides information about the EU Culture Programme and supports cultural institutions and artists in their application process.

Through her previous post as Artistic Director of the European Theatre and Performance Festival transeuropa 2009 and her work as freelance producer and events coordinator she has great experience in project management and a good knowledge of the European culture scene.

Geoffrey Brown

Geoffrey Brown is a freelance consultant specialising in the sharing of European and international information.  He oversees the Culture.Info websites providing international news, events calendars, mobility information, funding database, and updates on research and publications.  He is Director of EUCLID International, was Co-ordinator of the UK Cultural Contact Point (promoting the EU’s Culture programme) from 1999-2009, and is now an Advisor to Visiting Arts, the current UK CCP.  EUCLID also organises events on European and international topics.  He recently wrote the overview for “Culture & Development: 20 years after the fall of Communism in Europe”, published after a conference co-sponsored by the Council of Europe.
