What does Creative Europe’s European Platforms funding opportunity support?
This funding opportunity offers support for European Platforms which promote new and emerging talent though co-development, co-production and programming.

Who can apply?
Creative and cultural organisations working in any art form. Platforms involve a minimum of 10 members from 10 countries (including 5 EU Member states).

How much can you apply for?
You can apply for a grant of up to €500,000 per year, which makes up a maximum 80% of the total platform budget.

When is the deadline?
The next deadline for applications is 11am GMT on Wednesday 25 February 2015.
The application form is now online.

Which UK-based organisations have successfully applied?
In 2014 the dance network Aerowaves was awarded €420,100 as part of the European Platforms funding strand and is one of just five successful projects chosen from across Europe. Founded in 1996, Aerowaves is a Europe-wide network, which brings dance specialists from 35 countries and young choreographers together, resulting in performances and presentations throughout the continent and in its roaming annual festival Spring Forward.

UZ Arts (Glasgow) and Norwich and Norfolk Festival (Norwich) also benefit from involvement in a platform, IN SITU, which received €500,000 in 2014 to develop trans-disciplinary site-specific activities in public spaces across Europe.
