Creative Europe Desk UK is led by the British Council and the British Film Institute, in partnership with Arts Council England, Creative Scotland, Welsh Government and Arts Council of Northern Ireland, and with support from the UK Department for Culture, Media and Sport and the European Commission.
Creative Europe Desk UK’s main role is to help promote awareness and understanding of the EU’s Creative Europe programme, to provide advice and support to applicants and to encourage organisations from the UK to become involved in successful applications. We do this by email, over the phone, through Twitter and Facebook as well as through events, either run by us or on cooperation with other organisations. Our team of specialists are based in all four UK nations, in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff and Belfast.
This website focuses on Creative Europe’s Culture sub-programme while a new joint website bringing together MEDIA and Culture is being developed.
Creative Europe Desk UK – Culture replaces the UK Cultural Contact Point (CCP) which was run by Visiting Arts 2010-2013.
