Creative Europe’s ‘Culture sub-programme‘ runs from 2014 to 2020 and applications must be submitted to the European Commission’s Executive Agency (EACEA) based in Brussels. While the Creative Europe Desks will provide you with advice and support on how to apply to the programme and its funding opportunities, we do not provide the funding. When considering an application to the programme, please read the Guidelines for the strand you are interested in applying to.
The Briefing Note on Creative Europe’s Culture sub-programme is a good place to start and we also regularly run general and strand-specific information events on the Creative Europe ‘Culture’ funding opportunities as well as application workshops for applicants.
The ‘Culture’ sub-programme has four funding opportunities:
- Cooperation Projects: Cooperation between cultural and creative organisations from different countries;
- Literary Translation Projects: Initiatives to translate and promote literary works across the European Union;
- European Networks: Networks helping the cultural and creative sector to operate competitively and transnationally;
- European Platform Projects: Establishing platforms to promote emerging artists and stimulating European programming for cultural and artistic works.
